| I believe that engagement with history and science require that we continually complicate our understandings of culture and history and encourage critical analyses precisely because we are each co-creators of the future. Museums, historical sites, object collections, and documentary archives demonstrate the context and maker marks of their enveloping societies. Thus, we require an attitude to the present and the past that enables continual reframing. |
